Image-guided Surgery

Image-guided surgery (also known as frameless stereotaxy) has revolutionised neurosurgery, making brain surgery even more precise, safer, and more likely to have a successful outcome.

In much the same way as a GPS system works in a car or aeroplane, surgical navigation allows the neurosurgeon to see where they are in the brain with a high degree of accuracy.
